HOBONICHI Pencil Board-Planner Original (Mother : Mr Saturn)

The Hobonichi Pencil Board is always among the most popular accessories for the Hobonichi Techo. The boards come in three sizes to match any of the techo books, with each one providing a sturdy and comfortable writing surface so you can use a ballpoint pen without making indents on the page below. There’s also a tab on the corner of the pencil boards, making it easier to use them as a bookmark for whatever day you’re currently on.

For this 20th edition of the Hobonichi Techo, we’ve gathered all kinds of new designs for the Hobonichi Pencil Board lineup. (Counting each size separately, there are 20 types total.)

The MOTHER pencil board includes a new design this year for the A6 Original/Planner, A5 Cousin, and Weeks, with locations from MOTHER 2 on the front and characters on the back.

The A6 size has Saturn Valley on the front and Mr. Saturn on the back.

The A5 size has the game’s first town of Onett on the front and Ness on the back, with his trademark red cap and yellow backpack.

The Weeks size has the hot deserts of Scaraba on the front and the Chosen Four on the back: Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo.

The characters are photographs of the precious clay figurines that were made for the player’s guide when MOTHER 2 was released in 1994. Look closely and you can see every small detail in their craftsmanship.

You can spend every day alongside the MOTHER 2 characters when you use these pencil boards. They work great alongside the MOTHER series techo covers.
