HOBONICHI TECHO 2022 Planner Set A6 Doggie and Pussycat

Doggie and Pussycat are really enjoying themselves on this thick cotton cover. The design is based on the classic Czech children’s book All About Doggie and Pussycat by painter and author Josef Čapek. The book cover is that of the edition originally published in the Czech Republic, so it features Doggie and Pussycat holding hands and the Czech book title and author name above and below them. The design is silkscreen printed onto the cover, so the printed area is sleek when you run your hands across it, and it has a vague three-dimensional effect.

The inner pocket is printed with an image of Doggie and Pussycat at home, getting ready to clean the floor.

The butterfly stopper pen holders are a bright yellow and blue to match the colors of Doggie and Pussycat. Czech painter and author (1887-1945). Born in Hronov, Bohemia and studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Provided the illustrations and bookbinding for Nine Fairy Tales and other books by younger brother Karel Čapek. In addition to writing plays and short stories with Karel, he also wrote art criticism and children's literature.
